Welcome to FORME, the dairy event that is also a network and promotion project that starts from the territories, embraces Italy and opens up to the whole world.

Since 2015, three days designed to intrigue, entertain and surprise fans of the art of cheese-making with exhibitions, shows, markets, conferences and workshops where knowledge and flavoursintertwine in a unique formula.

FORME’s Cheese Labs accompany you on a discovery of surprising combinations of cheeses, wines, beers, perfumed waters, ciders, fruits, liqueurs, essences and jams. Led by industry professionals, FORME’s masterclasses are a unique opportunity to deepen one’s knowledge in the field of food and wine.  

FORME, in collaboration with Il Circolino di Città Alta, gives life to the Circle of Creative Italian Gastronomy. 
The protagonists are the extraordinary typical products of Alba, Bergamo and Parma, the three cities that symbolize the gastronomic art of the Bel Paese, united by the recognition as Unesco Creative Cities for Gastronomy. 

An opportunity to buy and taste a selection of the best food specialities of the three cities, also within refined menus created ad hoc. 

Having become a great FORME classic, Piazza Mercato del Formaggio is the format that hosts the exhibition-market of dairy and food and wine specialties from Lombardy.

Award ceremony of the international cheese competition “Awe and Emotion“, now in its fifth edition and realised in partnership with ONAF (National Organisation of Cheese Tasters). 

There are two categories in the competition: “Il Casaro d’Oro” (The Golden Cheesemaker), which awards refined/ matured and fresh cheeses made from cow’s, goat’s, sheep’s, buffalo and mixed milk and white yoghurt, and “Oltre il formaggio” (Beyond Cheese), an award dedicated to the best processed cheese products and flavoured yoghurt.

FORME Cheese Ambassador” initiative aims to valorize the role played by restaurants or shops in promoting the territory’s extraordinary cheese heritage. Thanks to them, cheeses and typical local products become known and customers can enjoy a memorable sensory experience. 

Look for the Forme Cheese Ambassador 2023 label: there you can find and taste a selection of the most qualified cheeses from the Orobic territory: PDO, “Principi delle Orobie” cheeses and Slow Food Presidia.
